Why become a partner

This page explains how an organization can engage with SAMRoute as a partner / co-sponsor,
alongside a standard buyer relationship.

Partnership turns early work into a stable reference layer: workflows, documented metrics,
reproducible datasets, and decision-ready outputs — reusable, comparable over time, and extendable.

For what SAMRoute is (and is not), see our page:

#partnership

What partnership means

Partnership is simple and open: it works alongside other collaborations.
When a contribution includes paid work, we follow a standard contract and procurement path.
Partnership can combine:
  • in-kind support (time, tools, or expertise)
  • co-funding (shared financing for specific work)
  • deployment (testing or adoption in real contexts)
  • data access (providing or validating datasets)
  • expert workshops (sharing field knowledge or feedback)
The shared objective is long-term. Partners help SAMRoute mature and expand to new perimeters. In exchange
they get early access, visibility (acknowledgment and back-references when relevant),
a preferred feedback loop, and partner terms (e.g., discounts or a joint case study when relevant).

Why join

Partnership helps turn early capability into a stable reference layer that is easier to reuse across teams and territories (for example around level crossings and their surroundings).
It helps in four concrete ways:
  • Comparable results: the same method and vocabulary makes results easier to compare across areas and over time.
  • Portfolio scale: one approach can be applied to many points, not just one, so improvements carry over.
  • Faster rollout: repeatable workflows, documented metrics, and versioned datasets reduce rework when expanding coverage.
  • Easier sharing across actors: consistent outputs (KPIs, maps, fact sheets, exports/APIs) circulate more easily between stakeholders.
Partners join at their own pace, with one shared direction: keep the method consistent as it scales.

What partnership enables

Partnership helps SAMRoute become easier to use, easier to share, and easier to roll out with others.
In practice, it supports a stable reference layer by enabling:
  • Validated workflows (search → interpret → share → revisit), with a simpler UX for daily work.
  • Real usage + fast feedback to improve fit and adoption.
  • New deployments: new territories and new types of critical points and use cases.
  • Better sharing across teams and stakeholders, in formats people can reuse.
  • Easy comparison: same method, same indicators, across many points and over time.
  • Faster rollout: reusable views and outputs reduce rework when expanding scope.
  • Ecosystem effect: more partners bring more feedback and clearer adoption signals.
The shared goal is simple: make the reference layer easy to adopt, compare, and extend over time.

How partners contribute

Partnership is open and flexible. Partners join through one lane or a mix:
  • Support (in-kind or co-funding)
  • Structuring (method and comparability)
  • Deployment (usage and feedback)
  • Visibility & ecosystem support (when relevant)
. Support can be in-kind (expert time, compute, tools, data access) or co-funding (shared financing for specific work).
When relevant, it can also include structured financing (for example: subsidies/subventions, loans, or equity investment).
. Structuring means making the method clear and reusable.
Partners can help define shared vocabulary, simple rules, and practical conventions,
so results stay easy to compare across territories, teams, and time.
. Deployment means using SAMRoute in real contexts and sharing feedback.
This includes validating workflows end-to-end, learning what drives adoption most,
and confirming which outputs are easiest to share across stakeholders.

In 2024, as part of its startup support, OVHcloud provided cloud credits.
This in-kind contribution supported early technical work, MVP experiments, and product iteration.
Thank you to the OVHcloud Startup Program team for their trust and support.
